Pune: Under the Global Educational Harmony Program, a nine-day study tour of students and teachers from Suryadatta Institutes of Management to the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) has been organized from October 18 to 26, 2024. The team has recently arrived in Thailand. As part of the global harmony program, the visit to AIT will span four days, including guest lectures by expert professors at AIT, a campus tour, networking, and visits to industries such as Robert Bosch and Siam Cement Group. There will also be a two-day cultural exchange in Pattaya, followed by visits to a Buddhist temple and the floating market,
To promote mutual academic cooperation and research, Suryadatta Group of Institutes recently signed an MoU with the Asian Institute of Technology. The purpose of this agreement is to foster student and faculty exchange, capacity building, and other mutually beneficial initiatives. This study tour is organized under that agreement. Through this Global Harmony Program, students will experience a unique blend of educational harmony, industrial exposure, and cultural enrichment in the vibrant city of Bangkok. This will provide them with a comprehensive, enriching, and transformative academic experience, as well as opportunities for cultural harmony and career growth. It is also expected that the program will give students the skills and insights needed to thrive in the rapidly changing global business environment, stated Professor Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya.

Suryadatta Institutes of Management, Pune organised an Outbound leadership program to Goa for its students and staff members from 29th Sept to 4th Oct, 2024. This outbound leadership program was organised to provide the students with a unique blend of academic immersion, industry experience and cultural enrichment in the vibrant city of Goa.
The outbound leadership program included Guest session of Brig Kiran Kumar Thacker (Retd) who has retired from the GRENADIERS regiment of the Indian Army in 2016 and an alumnus of the esteemed National Defence Academy Pune, Indian Military Academy Dehradun; Guest session of Mr Shashwat Gupta Ray, Deputy Editor, Herald Group of Publications, Goa. The students had opportunity to visit companies such as Smartlink Holdings, Automobile Corporation of Goa Ltd, City Aluminium, Prudent Press office, Elegant offset printing Press, etc, and also to Goa museum, spice plantation, etc.
In short, the study tour to Goa was a comprehensive, enriching, and transformative educational experience for students to have a sustainable career ahead. This programme provided Universal Human values, holistic experience, and insights needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving landscape of global business.

Suryadatta Institute of Management organized industrial visit to Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, Mumbai on 05th October, 2017. The purpose of the visit was to acquaint students with various functions, activities and procedures related to International Trade, Supply Chain and Operations Management. Total (109) 104 students and 5 faculties left for the visit by bus at 7:30am. JNPT is located at 18 degrees 56’ 43” N (Latitude) & 72 degrees 56’ 24” E (Longitude) and is spread over an area of 3000+ hectares. It was commissioned on 26th May 1989 and handles about 56% of total containers handled by all major ports of India. There are four dedicated containers terminals namely JNPCT, NSICT, GTIPL & NSIGT. In addition, there is one liquid cargo berth and shallow water berth. JNPT is connected with 34 CFS’s and 46 ICD’s destination.
We reached JNPT at 11:30am, after getting the entry procedures and documentation completed; we were assigned an executive with whom we reached to the JNPT terminal at 1:00pm. At port, students were given detailed information regarding transportation, storage, dispatch, material handling of cargos and other logistics and supply chain procedures. They were shown decks, terminals, vessels, machinery, equipments, and real time loading unloading technology which was quite astonishing. Students also got an opportunity to interact with technical and management team members of the port, who shared with them insights and strategy on how to build successful career in international trade and business sector. While coming out of the port students were taken for a bus ride inside JNPT mainly covering important locations, buildings and other destinations etc. As the last part of the visit, delicious food was served for lunch to students and faculties at cafeteria in JNPT.

The Suryadatta Group of Institutes has organized and conducted an Visit to Pune Central Mall, Erandwane, Pune for MBA Semester I students on Wednesday, 4th October, 2017. Total 74 students from MBA Semester I along with two faculty members, namely Dr. Kirti Dang Longani and Prof. Archana Lahoti visited to Pune Central.

There are 35 Centrals and present across 15 cities in India - that includes: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Vishakapatnam, Patna, Mohali, Vadodara, Mumbai, Sobo, Vashi, Goregaon, Thane, Pune, Ahmedabad, Indore, Jaipur, Raipur, Surat, Nashik, Gurgaon, Nagpur and Kochi.
We started from SGI campus by 2.00 pm. After reaching Pune Central students are divided into 15 groups each group consist of 5 students. Each group is asked to visit a department to observe & analyze that department regarding footfall of customers to that department, observe interaction of sales person to customers, display of products, schemes or discounts etc. Students also interacted with sales executive to know about marketing & sales strategies. Students also observed different sections and observed display and schemes or discounts of festival treat.
All Students even visited McDonalds & KFC were they learned making and serving process. Students also took orders interacted with customers, made burgers and mcflary for themselves. Sales Manager took students to their kitchen and showed them whole process gave answers to every query and curiosity students had and asked. At the end, Dr. Kirti Dang Longani delivered vote of thanks to Sales Manger and Sales executives for their informative session and efforts taken for students on behalf of students & Suryadatta Group of Institutes.
"Industrial Visit to “Bombay Stock Exchange” , Mumbai"
The Industrial Visit to Bombay Stock Exchange , Mumbai was organized for the Second Year MBA Students on Dated 3rd October , 2017. We started our Industrial Visit early in the morning at 8.00 am. There were 38 students of MBA Second Year 2016-2018 Batch, accompany with two faculty members Dr. Sachin Napate and Prof. Girish A Bodhankar.
We reached in Bombay Stock Exchange , Mumbai by 2.00 pm on the same day and the the session was started by 3.00 pm. Prof. Suhas from the Institute of BSE conducted the session. He starts delivering the lectors on the Operations of BSE starting from 1980. How initially the stock exchange works before the Regulatory body SEBI comes into existence. Prof. Suhas told us before the SEBI took a charge of Stock exchange the operations of stock exchange was completely belongs to the brokers of the Stock exchange.
Most of the Students participated in the question answer session. Finance students cleared their knowledge how to become investor in the stock exchange. They asked the question on how to choose the stock and how to make their portfolio stronger.
The session was ended by 5.00 pm with the Vote of Thanks given by Prof. Girish A Bodhankar on behalf of all the Students and Suryadatta Group of Institutes.
We started our back journey towards Pune by 5.30 pm and reached to Rawet, Mumbai Pune Highway by 10.30 pm. All of us took a Dinner in hotel. After that we reached to the Bavdhan Campus by 11.15 pm.
The Industrial visit was good by the knowledge with some much needed break from students perspective to refresh them and started their study freshly.
**"Visit to AICTE Workshop and Exhibition"
With the eight years of success DIDAC INDIA, is the only event in the Asia Pacific region for Educational Material, Training and Technology based solutions for all levels and sectors of the Education and Training Industry. Held annually, the International Exhibition and Conference addresses the growing demand for these products and solutions in the Indian Subcontinent.
The event is partnered by the Worlddidac Association, British Education Suppliers Association (BESA), DIDACTA (Germany) and India Didactics Association. The event is supported by all prominent ministries of the Government of India and various educational bodies like AICTE. Exhibition and Conference is scheduled from 19th to 21st September, 2017 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, India.
Dr. P. K. Ghosh and Dr. Kirti Dang Longani visited Mumbai to attend Conference and Exhibition. In spite of heavy rain and bad traffic managed to reach though late. We had interaction with Dr. Amit Dutta Regional head of AICTE. We discussed about the workshop and Exhibition. He gave us information about some stalls were we should visit specially stall of Cambridge University.
We visited few stalls. Most of them are for pre-primary and primary schools. Many stalls from different countries were about educational solutions like digital classrooms, school furniture, School uniform, School infrastructure, technologies for better learning process, Books etc. Visited AICTE and Cambridge University and literature and information regarding it is attached with this report.
