Prof. Dr. Sanjay B. Chordiya, Founder President and Chairman of Surydatta Group of Institutes Pune has been reappointed as the Chairman of Small & medium Business development chamber of India (SME Chamber of India) for Pune Region (Pune, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur and Nagar) for a period of two years, i.e. 2014-16.

This gives students at Suryadatta an opportunity to work and closely understand the working and functioning of an nationally reputed body like SME chamber India. The students can also benefit from the knowledge and information shared by the stalwarts in the SME segment. These stalwarts will be more accessible when they visit the SME Chamber (Pune) office at their world class integrated campus at Suryadatta Bavdhan Campus Pune.

Dr. Sanjay Chordiya is a Chartered Engineer with Masters Degree in various disciplines and Doctorate in Engg. Management & has 20+ years experience in the field of industry & teaching. He has experience in dealing with SME for more than 20 yrs. He has served for Bajaj Tempo Ltd (now Force Motors Ltd.) heading various crucial portfolios of Project Management, Purchase, Procurement, Logistics, Value Engg., Price panel, costing, project, production engg., supply chain management , etc. He also took up pioneering initiatives in setting up of several new projects and modernizing depts. of Tool room, production engg ,EDP ,CAD- CAM, price panel, SAP implementation. He has worked with renowned international consultants Ronald Berger and Price Water Cooper house and Boston Consultancy services, USA and IIM, Ahmadabad.
